Rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover
Masking tape or painters tape
Measuring tape or ruler
Heat source (hairdryer or heatgun)
Dental floss or plastic pry tool (for removal)

Prep Makes Perfect:

Clean Thoroughly: Wipe down the tailgate surface using rubbing alcohol to remove wax, dirt, and grease. This ensures proper adhesion and reduces the risk of badges lifting later.
Measure and Mark Placement: Use masking tape and a ruler to outline the perfect spot. Align with existing badges or factory indentations if available. Step back and check alignment from different angles.
Warm the Surface: Slight heat helps the adhesive bond better. A few seconds with a hairdryer does the trick - just warm, not scorching!

Applying the badge:

Use dental floss to get behind the old badge gently using a "sawing" motion.
Remove residue with adhesive remover and a soft cloth.
